Abstract

On July 6, the Yinhang Petrochemical 2010 Mid-Year Sales Conference was held in the conference room at Yinhang’s headquarters in Daqing.
The meeting began with Sales Director Zhang Hao delivering a thorough review and analysis of sales performance for January–June 2010. Despite the impact of fluctuating raw-material prices in the first half of 2010, thanks to the proactive efforts of the sales team, the company successfully met its sales targets set at the beginning of the year. Moreover, sales revenue increased by 72% compared with the same period last year, with sales of high-end products meeting or exceeding the CF‑4 specification rising by 51% year over year. Significant progress was also made in developing new markets and following up with new distributors. Director Zhang objectively identified areas for improvement in the first-half results, proposed corrective measures, and laid out a detailed plan for the second-half sales campaign.
      
The provincial and regional managers each presented a summary of their respective markets’ performance in the first half of the year, outlined their plans for the second half, and detailed implementation strategies for region-specific promotional initiatives to drive market growth.
      
At the meeting, General Manager Zhou provided a detailed briefing on the company’s overall performance in the first half of the year, introduced several new products that Piloting Petrochemical plans to launch in the second half, and outlined adjustments to its winter fuel‑oil product mix.
