Abstract
On January 5, 2011, the New Year Gala of Yinhang Petrochemical and Zhisheng Stationery was grandly held at the Oriental Mingyue Banquet Hall in the High-tech Zone. As our workforce and corporate scale continue to grow, he has come to feel an ever‑greater sense of responsibility. He underscored this point in his speech, which deeply moved us all. With a leader who consistently puts employees first, there is no reason why our company cannot thrive and expand, nor is there any excuse for any of us not to work diligently. During the banquet, a series of photographs showcased the journeys and accomplishments of Yinhang Petrochemical and Zhisheng Stationery since their founding, while promotional videos for both companies were screened. This was followed by a spectacular fireworks display, with dazzling bursts of color eliciting cheers and heralding an equally brilliant year ahead.
As all the audience returned to the venue, the staff had already arranged the fruit neatly. On stage, nine dancers were already poised, and the music swelled to life—marking the start of the breathtaking opening performance, “Maria.” The passionate, exuberant choreography, the lively, powerful movements, the dynamic, high‑energy score, the vibrant, colorful costumes, and the dazzling, ever‑changing lighting, combined with the performers’ radiant, joyous expressions, created a spectacle that words could scarcely capture. Some guests even wondered if the company had hired professional dancers for this opening number. The thunderous applause from the audience spoke volumes about the artistry of the piece. The scene left an indelible impression on everyone, especially those who had poured countless hours and heartfelt effort into it—proof, indeed, of the company’s guiding principle: “Every effort is rewarded.”
Following this, the four hosts made a splendid appearance, delivering a resolute and inspiring opening address that conveyed their heartfelt hopes for the company’s future and their New Year wishes to all, earning warm applause from the audience.
The subsequent duet allowed the audience to fully savor the song’s charm, and the vocal prowess of the two singers once again sent the venue into a fever pitch, elevating the evening to an exceptionally high standard right from the start.
Next, dance performances, a “san ju ban” skit, poetry recitations, short comedies, magic acts, and more took the stage one after another. Each act was superb, with one thrilling highlight following another. The poetry recitation captured the heartfelt sentiments of the company’s employees, while the magic routine, paired with video projections, stood out as truly unique. But the pièce de résistance was undoubtedly the short comedy “The Queen’s Marriage Advertisement,” which became the crown jewel of the evening and brought the show to its climactic peak. Moreover, the ten colleagues who performed all brought their own distinctive flair, delivering laughs that had the audience in stitches.
The gala concluded at approximately 10:45 p.m. Although this year’s event was scheduled a full month earlier than in previous years, leaving very little time for preparation, everyone still managed to deliver high‑quality performances within such a tight timeframe—evident in the outstanding contributions of our guests and colleagues. The atmosphere on site was truly infectious, and even as the evening drew to a close, no one wanted to leave; each person seemed eager for more. Thanks to the well‑organized proceedings, meticulous planning, dazzling performances, and the generous dedication of all involved, this year’s gala was an overwhelming success and came to a triumphant close. We are confident that, like the company itself, future galas will grow better and more spectacular with each passing year.
