Abstract

To align with the company’s market development and meet the needs of a broad customer base, Daqing Yinhang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has focused on developing and launching a brand-new brake fluid product—“Tu Huan” synthetic brake fluid—which was officially introduced to the market in December 2010.

Following approval by the Heilongjiang Provincial Bureau of Technical Supervision, the “Tu Huan” synthetic brake fluid manufactured by Daqing Yinhang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has been found to meet production requirements and has obtained a production license. Accordingly, a production license for motor vehicle brake fluid is hereby issued, with certificate number: (Hei) XK-18-001-00004. This product complies with the latest national standard GB 12981-2003 and meets the enhanced performance criteria for corrosion resistance and low‑temperature fluidity.

Brake fluid plays the following roles in a vehicle’s braking system: it transmits pressure and heat; it provides rust‑proofing and corrosion protection, extending the service life of components; and it offers lubrication, reducing sliding friction between brake parts. “Tuhuan” synthetic brake fluid is available in two grades—DOT 3 and DOT 4—formulated according to the standards set by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). DOT 3 is an alcohol‑ether‑based fluid, while DOT 4 is an alcohol‑ether borate ester‑based fluid, using high‑boiling diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol butyl ether borate, and other ingredients. Extensive testing has demonstrated that its key performance indicators—including dry and wet equilibrium boiling points—exceed industry standards, with excellent low‑temperature fluidity, a slightly alkaline pH, low water sensitivity and evaporation rates, and superior resistance to metal corrosion and good compatibility with rubber. Backed by increasingly mature research and development technologies, and underpinned by premium raw materials and stringent quality control, this “Tuhuan” synthetic brake fluid from Yinhang Petrochemical is poised to deliver exciting new benefits to users and distributors alike.
