Abstract

Recently, the “Baogang Group New System Project” Lubricating oil The “Tender Project” is entering its final stage, ultimately leading to pilotage. Lubricating oil Leveraging its superior product quality and robust technological edge, the company has distinguished itself in fierce competition with numerous renowned domestic and international lubricant brands, securing a successful bid and earning a place among the select few domestic lubricant brands that serve major state-owned enterprises.
Baogang Group was established in 1954 and is a major ten‑million‑ton‑class steel industrial base in China, the world’s largest rare‑earth industrial base, and the largest industrial enterprise in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It operates four major business segments—steel, rare earths, mining, and non‑steel—and has two listed subsidiaries: Baogang Shares and Baogang Rare Earth. The “New System” expansion project at Baogang was officially launched in 2011, with an investment of several billion yuan, and is expected to bring annual crude steel production capacity to 16.5 million tons this year. The “New System” project is one of Baogang’s most significant undertakings in recent decades and serves as a crucial cornerstone for the company’s renewed push in the steel market.
At the outset of Baogang’s establishment, given the then‑subpar level of domestic lubricant technology, a large number of advanced metallurgical facilities relied on imported foreign‑brand lubricants for routine maintenance, consuming nearly 100 million yuan annually. As China’s lubricant market grew increasingly robust, domestic lubricant technology and cost‑effectiveness steadily improved, even surpassing several internationally renowned brands. Consequently, in the framework of its “New System Project,” Baogang turned its attention to outstanding domestically produced lubricant brands—marking the entry of “Yinhang” into the scope of Baogang’s new system initiative.
During technical exchanges with the Baogang New System Project Team, Yinhang recognized the metallurgical industry’s stringent requirements for lubricant quality and technology. Consequently, Yinhang’s Technical Service Director, Nie Ling, personally took charge of establishing a dedicated “Baogang New System Project” service team, assembling the company’s top technical experts to oversee all aspects of lubrication for Baogang. Led by Director Nie, the team repeatedly visited the production floor, holding numerous technical workshops with Baogang’s project managers, engineers, and equipment‑maintenance personnel. Through meticulous refinement of key parameters—such as application scope and viscosity grades—and relentless pursuit of product excellence, they developed and refined lubricants better suited to Baogang’s needs. At the same time, the service team collaborated with Yinhang’s domestic and international strategic partners to analyze the current state of Baogang’s lubrication practices, explore the development and implementation of cutting‑edge technologies, and deliver the most rational, cost‑effective, and efficiency‑enhancing lubrication solutions for the new system. Ultimately, Yinhang’s exceptional service and professional ethos earned the full endorsement of Baogang’s New System Project Department and its leadership at all levels, leading to a mutually beneficial partnership built on collaboration and shared success.
The service package for the Baogang New System Project marks another significant step forward for Yinhang in the industrial lubrication sector, following its successful entry into major industrial groups such as Tonggang Group, Angang Group, and Northern Cement Group, and carries profound implications. On one hand, it underscores that Yinhang’s technology and services have reached an increasingly sophisticated level, earning growing recognition and favor from consumers; on the other hand, it highlights the formidable strength that domestic lubricant brands now wield in the market.
