Abstract

 

On the morning of October 29, 2009, the signing ceremony for the “Yinhang Petrochemical–Harbin Institute of Technology Fund for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering” was held at Yinhang Petrochemical Co., Ltd. in the Daqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Attending the ceremony were Wei Hongmei, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee of Harbin Institute of Technology; Wu Songquan, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Science; Yang Chunlei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Science; Yue Huimin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Chemical Engineering; Liu Zhongxu, Deputy Director of the Bureau of Economic and Technological Development of the Daqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee; and Zhou Zhongcheng, General Manager of Yinhang Petrochemical, among others.
Yinghang Petrochemical leverages the expertise of Daqing Oilfield’s petrochemical professionals and its abundant supply of base oils to produce over a hundred varieties of products, including internal combustion engine oils and industrial lubricants. Lubricating oil The company has obtained ISO 9001 international quality management system certification and has been recognized as a key brand under market protection by the China Quality Inspection Association, with an annual production capacity of… Lubricating oil With an annual output of 50,000 tons, the company is expected to generate 600 million yuan in output value and 120 million yuan in annual profits and taxes, making it one of the high‑growth star enterprises in the Daqing High‑Tech Industrial Development Zone.
Yinhang Petrochemical is committed to fostering the innovative capabilities of university students and places great emphasis on enriching its development through industry–university collaboration. Building on earlier cooperative efforts, it has established the “Yinhang Petrochemical–Harbin Institute of Technology Fund for Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.” Each year, Yinhang Petrochemical will contribute RMB 50,000 to support 10 to 20 student innovation projects. Specifically, RMB 30,000 will be allocated to student‑led scientific and technological innovation activities and the early-stage incubation of entrepreneurial ventures, while RMB 20,000 will fund the development of student‑organized innovation initiatives. The initial agreement will be implemented over a three-year period. Yang Chunlei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Science, and Zhou Zhongcheng, General Manager of Yinhang Petrochemical, signed the agreement on behalf of the university and the enterprise, respectively.
To support Harbin Institute of Technology students’ science and technology as well as social practice activities, Yinhang Petrochemical has established dedicated facilities at its R&D base, including laboratories and dormitories. Following the signing ceremony, Wei Hongmei, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of HIT, and Liu Zhongxu, Deputy Director of the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Daqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee, unveiled the plaque for the “Harbin Institute of Technology School of Science Student Innovation and R&D Base.”
