Abstract

The Yinhang Petrochemical team, composed of five men and five women, advanced through multiple rounds of selection—including the preliminary round, the semi‑finals, and the elimination rounds—only to fall short at the final six. With the sales team based offsite and Yinhang’s production emphasizing precision and dexterity, not a single member of our team was the kind of super‑heavy, powerfully built athlete best suited for tug‑of‑war.



However, the participating teams’ impeccable deportment, spirit of unity, and spirited demeanor won over many in attendance. With spirited poise and an indomitable fighting spirit, they bravely vied for the tournament’s sole “Sportsmanship Award.”
   
It is worth noting that the intense competition lifted the spirits of everyone present, inadvertently leaving the venue littered with debris. Seeing this, the team leader gave the word, and dozens of pilotage staff in bright orange work uniforms moved swiftly between the playing field and the spectators, bending down to pick up trash and quickly restoring order. The audience responded to this humble yet commendable effort with rounds of applause.
