Abstract
(Quick note: Every year, right after the winter and summer school holidays end, Zhi Sheng Stationery, a sister company of Yinhang, experiences a surge in student‑supplies procurement. Each year, Yinhang assigns several employees to the store to provide support, working hand in hand to meet the peak demand during the back-to‑school season. This essay is inspired by the heartfelt reflections of Yinhang staff who went on-site to lend a helping hand!)
In the early morning, the first ray of sunlight streamed into “Zhisheng.”
Shining a Light on the Work of “Pilot” Professionals
This day
In the storefronts of various smart retailers
Employees wearing two types of uniforms
Beginning to make the same sound
“The sound of ‘busyness,’ from that moment on”
Begins to reverberate
The sun playfully climbed over the hilltop.
Dripping sweat
A garment soaked through in two colors
That, then, is the reward for the sun’s mischievous prank.
Look—on the handkerchiefs in your hands and mine
Soaked
It’s long since ceased to be my own sweat.
The smiles in each other’s eyes
The sun’s burning gaze
Lunch is the time when the “Zhisheng” team expresses their gratitude.
In the staff cafeteria, the finest dishes are reserved for the “pilots.”
Not a high-end delicacy.
In fact, it no longer matters.
Because of the taste of this meal
The Fragrance of Sincere Harmony
The stars, amidst the bustling figures flowing through the shop’s doorway.
Ambushed the alleyway
A Day at Work
Very soon, it will be over.
Heavy footsteps, weary faces, and sweat-soaked collars.
There is also
A shoulder to lean on
The feeling of reluctance lingers in the air.
It ripples right into my heart.
My friend, I’m not “Zhisheng.”
Brother, I’m not “the guide” either.
But at this very moment, faced with parting…
Touched by emotion, we come to understand each other’s hearts.
A family should avoid talking about “helping out.”
Because only by gripping the future tightly with both hands can we forge it.
From this moment on, there is no need for either of us to offer thanks.
You see, you want…
Unity is strength!
A sales associate is helping a customer select products.
The Zhi Sheng store was packed with customers.
The busy figures of those who outwit others and guide them.
A sales associate is helping a customer select products.
We are one family.
