Abstract
On August 6, the large-scale summer camp event “Unleash Your Passion, Celebrate with Joy at Yinhang” kicked off at the Daqing Longfeng Wetland Park. Initiated and organized by Yinhang Petrochemical’s Production Department, the event was jointly supported and participated in by all employees from the Personnel, Marketing, Sales, and other departments. The occasion was graced by the presence of two valued partners—Manager Wang and Manager Shi from Baoding, Hebei—who joined the festivities. From start to finish, the atmosphere remained vibrant, brimming with enthusiasm and joy.
The “Passionate Summer, Joyful Guidance” event is being held at the Daqing Longfeng Wetland Park. Located in the southeastern part of Longfeng District in Daqing City, the Daqing Longfeng Wetland Nature Reserve is an urban wetland just 8 kilometers from the city center. It is an intact, pristine, and unique wetland ecosystem that remains largely undisturbed, making it the largest and best-preserved urban wetland landscape in China—and a signature attraction of the “Oil City.” The Longfeng Wetland plays an irreplaceable role in moderating the local climate, mitigating floods and waterlogging, regulating runoff, degrading pollutants, and enhancing the urban environment. As a result, it has become the preferred destination for residents of the Oil City to relax, unwind, and rejuvenate.
In addition to allowing pilotage staff to “breathe in the natural air and appreciate the wetland’s ecological scenery,” the event organizing committee has also carefully curated a variety of group activities. All employees participating in this summer camp were divided into seven teams for competition, with the winning team claiming an irresistible grand prize. Team members eagerly geared up, ready to charge into action. The contests were organized into four main events: “Invincible Firewheel,” “Water Balloon Relay,” “Fun Soccer,” and “Tug‑of‑War.” Among these, the highly entertaining “Invincible Firewheel” — in which participants wrap newspaper around themselves with tape to form a circular hoop that can accommodate five to six people; each team member inside the hoop moves it forward, with victory determined by who completes the prescribed distance in the shortest time, and the race ends if the hoop tears apart — tested both the seamless coordination among team members and their patience, teaching them the lesson that “haste makes waste.” The “Water Balloon Relay” — where two members from each team stand facing one another one meter apart, successfully passing a water balloon once before moving the line one meter farther; the final score is decided by the distance between the last two players, and the relay stops when a balloon bursts — saw water balloons flying and splashes soaring, bringing a refreshing coolness to the sweltering summer heat while filling everyone with boundless laughter. Meanwhile, the “Tug‑of‑War” offered a thrilling showdown of “strength and passion” between teams, accompanied by cheers, leaps of joy, shouts, and songs, pushing the summer camp to its boiling point!
The Yinhang Petrochemical Summer Camp concluded with a delightful gala dinner. The event embodied Yinhang’s guiding principle of “healthy living, joyful work,” highlighted the team’s strong sense of cohesion and unity, and showcased the vibrant energy and dynamism of the Yinhang family.
