Abstract

On the morning of May 18, 2010, the “Daqing City Brand Development Promotion Conference” was held at the Daqing Hotel, with the aim of further implementing the “Opinions of the CPC Daqing Municipal Committee on Thoroughly Carrying Out the ‘Three Hundred’ Action Plan” and the “Implementation Plan for Cultivating One Hundred Key Brands in Daqing City.”
Yinhang Petrochemical, a key brand actively recommended by the city, attended the conference. At the event, Wang Hong’en, Vice Mayor of Daqing, emphasized: “It is not enough to focus solely on building and promoting brands in the marketplace and among consumers. We must also rely on the people’s government and relevant departments to fully exercise their functions, intensify support and nurturing efforts, improve protection mechanisms, and create a favorable environment for enterprises to implement their branding strategies, thereby accelerating the development of strong competitive advantages in branding. Only then can we achieve scientific, balanced, and leapfrogging growth of our brands.”
