Abstract

Pilotage Lubricating oil To help car owners better prepare their vehicles for the harsh winter conditions in northern regions, Longzhong is now introducing the Yinhang Bingchi 9000 series antifreeze internal‑combustion engine oil.
 
Conventional motor oil has a low viscosity index, meaning its viscosity varies significantly with temperature. In winter, when ambient temperatures drop, the oil’s viscosity increases and its fluidity decreases. As a result, during cold‑start conditions, it takes longer for the oil to circulate from the oil pan, through the oil pump, and to the engine’s working surfaces, leaving the engine temporarily without adequate lubrication and leading to dry friction. Statistical data show that more than 75% of engine wear occurs under such dry‑friction conditions. Therefore, the viscosity index and low‑temperature fluidity of winter motor oil are critical factors in determining its overall quality.
 
The Yinghang Bingchi 9000 series products are specially formulated with imported, triple‑hydrogenated base oils that boast a high viscosity index and excellent low‑temperature fluidity, blended with composite additives manufactured by the American company Afton. High‑quality base stocks and premium additives ensure the exceptional performance of the Bingchi 9000 series. The Bingchi 9000 SJ/CF 5W/30 and SG/CD 5W/30 grades have pour points below –37°C (the national standard for 5W/30 is –35°C) and cold‑cranking simulator (CCS) temperatures below –31°C, enabling effortless engine start-up even in the most severe winter conditions across most of northern China.
