Abstract

At 2:00 p.m. on June 24, the Qingdao “July 1” Red Song Concert, hosted by the Individual and Private Enterprise Association of the High-tech Zone Administration for Industry and Commerce in Daqing City, kicked off at the Zhengda Fangsheng Sunshine Hall. Thirty contestants from more than 20 enterprises in the High-tech Zone took part in the competition. Employees of Yinhang Petrochemical enthusiastically signed up, and ultimately selected Feng Hongyan, a packaging operator from the Production Department, to represent the company.

The pilotage staff, clad in neat blue uniforms, stood in perfect formation, their rallying cries resounding with vigor, showcasing the pilots’ exemplary spirit and earning praise from the leaders of the Administration for Industry and Commerce. Feng Hongyan, dressed in his military uniform, moved the audience with a deeply emotional and poignant rendition of “Mother,” drawing sustained applause and winning the award for Outstanding Performance. An ordinary worker at the pilotage station, he approaches his duties with diligence and dedication, and in his spare time enjoys singing, often belting out popular tunes for his colleagues during breaks. The Red Song Festival provided Feng Hongyan with a platform to shine; his stellar performance on stage was met with enthusiastic cheers from the audience—testament to the vibrant corporate culture that defines the spirited and upward‑moving pilotage team.
