The Fourth Session of the First Term of the Lubricant Grease Professional Committee of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, together with a seminar on lubricant grease packaging technology, was held in Harbin on June 28–29, 2011. With the active support of the attending delegates, all items on the agenda were successfully completed. During the event, member companies of the committee engaged in extensive exchanges—both during and beyond the formal proceedings—with representatives from research institutions, raw-material suppliers, and packaging firms, yielding positive results and fostering enhanced communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
The main agenda of this conference was a technical symposium on grease‑product packaging. As a member enterprise of the Grease Professional Committee of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, Yinhang Petrochemical dispatched engineers Nie Ling and Zhang Shouchen from its Technical Department, along with two technicians, to attend the event.
On the morning of June 28, the meeting commenced with a work report delivered by Guo Xiaochuan, Chairperson of the Committee, who reviewed the past year’s developments in the grease industry and outlined emerging trends in testing and packaging. During the lecture session, Dr. Ding Guangjian of Shanghai Runzhi presented on “Total‑Performance Lubrication: Opportunities and Challenges in Equipment Management Transformation.” Kang Jing, a Technical Application Engineer at CETC Guofu Bearing (Beijing) Co., Ltd., then gave a talk titled “Applications of SKF Greases in Industrial Settings,” which proved highly informative for the attendees. The afternoon session on the 28th focused primarily on discussions regarding grease packaging. Senior Engineer Yao Lidan from the Petroleum Science Research Institute provided an overview of current international practices in grease packaging. Representatives from several specialized grease‑packaging manufacturers offered detailed presentations on widely used grease packaging solutions and auxiliary tools, such as grease guns. Our company’s delegation, drawing on our existing range of pilot‑grade greases, actively engaged with packaging suppliers, exchanging relevant materials and samples, with the aim of developing more practical and suitable cartridge‑type grease packaging to better serve our customers.
Through this technical seminar, Yinhang Petrochemical gained access to the latest industry insights in the lubricant grease sector, established valuable partnerships with numerous stakeholders from both within and outside the industry, and earned high praise and recognition from the organizing committee and its members for its rapid growth over the past few years as well as its superior products and services.
Guo Xiaochuan, Chairman of the Committee, delivered a work report.
