Abstract
To further enhance fire safety awareness and strengthen the entire workforce’s ability to respond effectively to emergencies, with strong support from the Daqing Municipal Fire Brigade and under the guidance of company leadership, Yinhang Petrochemical conducted a fire drill at 4:30 p.m. on August 17, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the company’s Fire Safety Emergency Response Plan.
The main participants in this exercise were members of the Yinhang Petrochemical Safety Responsibility Team, comprising the Thermal Power Group, the Electrical Equipment Group, and the Daily Support Group. The fire drill was divided into four phases: emergency evacuation, leak‑response procedures, simulated fire‑extinguishing using fire hydrants, and hands‑on firefighting practice. At 4:30 p.m., a sharp alarm sounded throughout the plant, marking the start of the exercise. To ensure realistic training, the drill included simulated leak‑response scenarios, fire‑hydrant water‑spraying exercises, and practical demonstrations of fire‑extinguisher use. With active participation from all staff, on‑site Q&A sessions addressed various questions and uncertainties, yielding the expected results. Following the exercise, leaders from the Fire Department provided an on‑site summary, declared the drill a complete success, and urged all Yinhang employees to diligently study fire‑safety knowledge, strengthen their safety awareness, and rigorously implement preventive measures.
Yinghang Petrochemical has been recognized for many consecutive years as an advanced unit in workplace safety, with zero accidents since its establishment. The company regularly conducts fire‑safety training sessions for all employees, carries out emergency drills addressing oil‑related and electrical fires as well as personal injury scenarios, and organizes activities such as “Safety in My Heart” discussion forums and the “Ankang Cup” competition. It also allocates dedicated funds for routine equipment maintenance and inspections, treating workplace safety as a long‑term, high‑priority priority that is consistently and rigorously pursued. As a result, it has repeatedly been honored by Daqing City as an “Advanced Unit in Workplace Safety,” demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, fulfilling its principal responsibilities, and striving to build a safe and harmonious manufacturing enterprise.
