Abstract
The Yinhang Petrochemical 2012 Mid-Year Sales Conference has just concluded, and the inaugural “Yinhang Cup” basketball tournament promptly kicked off. On July 17, at Yinhang’s sports field, cheers and exclamations rose and fell in waves, turning the venue into a sea of joy and passion.
The inaugural basketball league featured five teams—Team Navigation No. 1, Team Navigation Vanguard, Team Navigation Ice‑Chariot, Team Navigation Shipping Tycoon, and Team Navigation Hydro‑Clean—each composed of sales and production personnel from the company. The tournament kicked off promptly at 8:30 a.m., following a knockout format, with four matches played in total. In the end, Team Navigation Vanguard emerged victorious, claiming the championship, while Team Navigation Shipping Tycoon and Team Navigation Ice‑Chariot finished second and third, respectively.
This basketball tournament was organized to help pilots unwind and relieve work-related stress after their demanding schedules, while also strengthening the team’s sense of unity and cohesion. Throughout the games, both the players on the court and the spectators in the stands displayed tremendous enthusiasm. We witnessed the pilots’ spirit of sincere collaboration and mutual support, and we saw their unwavering resilience and indomitable determination. Piloting takes pride in having such dedicated professionals; we are confident that those who today stride onto the court with vigor and flair will surely forge a bright new future—both for themselves and for the pilotage profession.
P.S. A prose poem (employee submission)
Fulfilling a dream
Lift one up
Round and heavy
My Dream
Uphold a share
Yours is yours, mine is mine.
Strong
A Man’s Medal
Quenched in water, burned in fire.
Truly genuine and utterly real
The banners of triumph
Soaked with sweat, drenched in blood
Only victorious wine grows richer and richer.
What we have supported
It is hope.
Conveying
It just turns into a dream.
One day, eventually
I want my medal.
Imprinted upon that crimson banner
