Abstract


On September 12, Zhou Zhongcheng, General Manager of Yinhang Petrochemical, together with Zhang Shouchen, an engineer from the Technical Department, met at Harbin Institute of Technology with Dr. Zhou Jigang, an industrial research scientist at the Canadian Light Source (CLS), and Dr. Jeff Cutler, a renowned Canadian expert in lubrication technology and Deputy General Manager of CLS. As early as 2009, Yinhang Petrochemical successfully developed an internationally leading nitrogen–phosphorus–boron‑based organic rare‑earth anti‑wear and energy‑saving additive, securing national patent protection. This achievement garnered the interest of Canada’s Canadian Light Source (CLS), which subsequently entered into a strategic partnership with Yinhang. During this meeting, CLS stated: “Yinhang Petrochemical is the first private enterprise with which CLS has partnered in China. We aim to establish long-term collaborations in China and look forward to expanding our cooperation with Yinhang Petrochemical—making it broader, more enduring, and closer. ” In response, Yinhang Petrochemical expressed a deep consensus: as it continues to grow, it urgently requires the support of cutting-edge international technologies, and will work together with CLS to co‑develop high‑end lubricants that are both technologically advanced and deliver superior lubrication performance. On the front of technical exchange, Canada’s light‑source research facility CLS expressed its intention to collaborate with Yinhang on the joint research and development of anti‑wear, energy‑saving additives for commercial lubricants, with the goal of bringing to market greener, more energy‑efficient lubrication products at the earliest possible date. Additionally, CLS proposed new approaches and innovative ideas for applying nanotechnology to the field of lubrication.
Since its establishment, Yinhang Petrochemical has forged strategic partnerships with leading international research institutions, including U.S.-based Affton and Canada’s CLS, as well as Harbin Institute of Technology. By promptly translating cutting-edge scientific breakthroughs into the R&D and production of lubricants, Yinhang has continuously elevated both the technological sophistication and quality of its products, earning growing recognition and favor from consumers.
