Abstract
Hosted by the Jilin Provincial Sports Bureau and co-organized by the Northeast Route 1038 Car Owners’ Alliance, the 2015 Jilin Province “Guai Che Fang” Cup Nine-City-Area Automobile League is currently a major sporting event that Jilin Province is prioritizing and actively promoting. It is China’s largest provincial-level automobile racing series and, aside from the Changchun International Auto Show, represents another high‑profile motorsport event of significant influence in Changchun—the “City of Cars.”
The “2015 Guai Che Fang Cup Auto Racing League – Changchun Season Opener” kicked off with thrilling excitement on May 23, as competitors from cities and counties across Jilin Province delivered a high‑octane, real‑world “Fast & Furious” spectacle. A total of 120 drivers from throughout the province registered to take part, while hundreds of motorsport enthusiasts flocked to the venue to watch. At the opening ceremony, riders from professional teams within the province put on an electrifying show, featuring motorcycle stunts, remote‑control car tricks, and off‑road vehicle performances. The displays were breathtaking and dazzling, leaving the audience thoroughly exhilarated.
This event will feature three categories: “I Am the Champion—Peak Showdown,” for nationally‑ranked professional racers from Jilin Province; “Streamer’s Drive—Celebrity Showdown,” for well‑known media streamers; and “I Am a Driver—Everyday Hero,” for racing enthusiasts.

Notably, the top three places in the media category were all claimed by drivers from Jilin City’s FM88.3 Auto Radio: first place went to Han Peng, second to Bai Jun, and third to Li Shuangyang. Even more interesting is that the media-category champion, Han Peng, not only participated in the media category but also registered for the Ling Hang event. It’s worth noting that hosts Qingtianzhu and Xiaolong, from FM103.8 Jilin Traffic Radio, also advanced to the finals in the Professional Category and the Media Category, respectively. Host Qingtianzhu told reporters that participating in such a professional competition as an automotive‑show host helps elevate the quality of his program and makes his on‑air reporting more polished. He also urged everyone to drive safely in their daily lives: “If you want to enjoy cars or race, don’t do it on public roads. If you want to have fun with cars, head to a professional racing event—on the track, all right-of-way belongs to you; on the road, it belongs to everyone.”
This Guai Che Fang Cup automobile league has broken new ground as the first local league of its kind in the province. The competition adopts a points-based system, linking nine previously independent events into a single series. Scores are calculated based on each driver’s accumulated points, and the top six finishers in the Media Group, Amateur Group, and Professional Group will earn qualification to compete in the final showdown in Changchun.
