Abstract
The “Taklamakan Rally” is officially known as the Taklamakan Desert Automobile and Motorcycle Off-Road Rally, also serving as the Xinjiang leg of the China Off-Road Series. It is a national Class A sporting event held annually. As an internationally renowned competition of great influence, it currently stands as Asia’s premier and China’s largest authoritative off-road event, bringing together cars, motorcycles, and trucks on the same course.
The Jiangxi Isuzu D-MAX Team is a collective member of the China Automobile Federation and a racing team duly registered in accordance with the Federation’s statutes. For the 2015 Taklamakan Rally, the team will field a D-MAX vehicle and three seasoned drivers: Song Bo, Bian Zhigang, and Sun Shuang.
