Abstract

Ganyu County boasts an extensive coastline and over one million mu of shallow sea areas. At present, maritime surveillance enforcement covers a range of areas, including the management of marine use, marine environmental protection, and the protection of islands. In December 2012, Marine Surveillance Vessel No. 58 was delivered for use by the Ganyu County Maritime Surveillance Brigade in Jiangsu Province.


“The China Marine Surveillance 58,” a dedicated law-enforcement vessel, measures 19.8 meters in length, has a displacement of 50 tons, a cruising speed of 20 knots, and can withstand winds up to Force 6 with a range of 500 nautical miles. It is currently the first high-performance marine surveillance enforcement boat equipped by a county-level marine surveillance brigade in Jiangsu Province. The vessel is outfitted with advanced navigation and communication equipment, including a GPS satellite navigator, navigation radar, depth sounder, and high-frequency radio. As the inaugural high-performance marine surveillance enforcement boat, it naturally requires meticulous maintenance, with Ling Hang Lubricant taking the lead to continue safeguarding China’s marine surveillance operations.
