Abstract




Since Ling Hang Lubricating oil Since the establishment of the joint R&D center with Harbin Institute of Technology, Ling Hang and the institute’s research team have been dedicated to in-depth R&D in lubrication and friction. Clean low-sulfur technology and molybdenum fluid technology are two of the most remarkable achievements.
In 2017, Ling Hang and Harbin Institute of Technology jointly filed an invention patent application with the National Intellectual Property Administration, which has recently entered the substantive examination stage.


China’s patents are divided into three types: design patents, utility model patents, and invention patents. Among them, the invention patent is the most important and also the most stringent. The patent jointly applied for by Ling Hang and Harbin Institute of Technology is an invention patent. The patent application number is 201710174729.4, with Harbin Institute of Technology and Ling Hang Petrochemical (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. as the applicants, and Liu Yuyan and Sun Xinghui from Harbin Institute of Technology, along with Ling Hang, as the inventors. This patent, jointly filed by Ling Hang and Harbin Institute of Technology, focuses on the performance of carbon nanomaterials in lubricants. Its frictional properties in lubricants were investigated using laser Raman spectroscopy, infrared spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and a four-ball friction tester, which holds significant implications for novel applications in the field of lubrication.
  



Ling Hang—Researchers at Harbin Institute of Technology anticipate publishing several SCI-indexed English-language papers in prestigious academic journals this year. These achievements signify that Ling Hang–Harbin Institute of Technology has advanced into the realm of mechanistic and fundamental theoretical research in the field of lubrication.
